Saw this yesterday. Never before have I seen so much WTF in a car.

Kinja'd!!!

Sorry for the one crappy pick, I was behind it at first and didn't notice anything different, then it turned and O.o. I lost it at a light, but caught up and managed to get this picture. It looked professional, but odd. Also, dealer plates?!

I used to quite like it.

It's been around since the last-gen Explorer, and it's a funky car. Weird in idea, like that taurus x thing, and the Honda Element.

It's...weird and unique. But I'd still go with a real truck if I needed one (Ram).

For people who wanted a Crew Cab F-Series with a smaller bed?

No. It's an Expedition. I thought it was a sport trac at first, but it had an expedition badge and was the size of an expedition. Plus look at the license plate location and the area where the bed meets the cab.

Kinja'd!!!

Not to mention the tail lights are that of an expedition, and it didn't look factory done.

Nope. The window line doesn't kink up at the back. Weird.

No, it's definitely an Expedition turned into a truck, not a Sport Trac. I've seen plenty of Sport Tracs, this was much bigger and shares many features with the expedition.

I guess...this was a custom job. You could tell that the rear window wasn't quite right.

Jebus, am I the only replier that can tell an Expedition from an Explorer? exlexeo, Mathias, Alex, all y'all need glasses.

To be fair, without size reference it's not readily apparent. Although you can see the size by that Ram in front of it.

Yikes. The top of the "tailgate" looks like ass.

For one, the bed is not separate. And otherwise, every feature is distinguishable. But then again, Sport Tracs weren't exactly huge sellers so I spoke I could see not knowing them that well.

Yeah, but if you've seen a Sport Trac, you would know this isn't a Sport Trac. They are pretty unique.

I don't disagree, and I would assume a Jalopnik reader should be able to tell.

I don't really keep tabs on American vehicles. They're all pretty much the same thing with a different badge anyways. But yes the main difference here with a sport trac is the tail lights in my mind...

This is a super professional job. I am so intrigued by who did this modification.
